Lily of the Day - Month 6
Happy Half Birthday Lily!!!
Lily can sit up, roll and scoot all over the place, eat solid foods, "jump" in her jumper, scream giggle and squeal, sign 'eat', understand 'Lily' 'eat' 'what' and 'boo', watch Whinnie the Pooh, grab shake and release things, transfer toys between her hands, play peek-a-boo, and a bunch of other tricks. She is so much fun and she still can't get into trouble. She's just perfect!

We spent most of this month in Utah visiting tons of family. Lily really loves people and just ate up all the attention. Tyler affectionately calls her is "little ham", "piglet", and "gordita". She's a ham for attention, she loves to eat, and she's rolly-polly. Everyone just loves her chubby cheeks!

Aunts, Uncle, G-mas, and G-pas
We went to visit UT Nov 19-Dec 7 2008. We had so much fun visiting families! If we saw you, we hope you are in one of these pictures. Let us know if you want a copy. Thank-you everyone for all of the good memories we made!
During this trip Lily learned to sit up well by herself, eat (and love) many foods, giggle, and crave attention. She was so spoiled when we got home. It took days before she would play by herself again.

Visitor
Nate's co-worker Janet came to visit (Nate is Tyler's brother who lives in Shanghi). We had fun showing her around the island. She got a kick out of Chinaman's Hat.

Camping
We took Lily on her first camping trip. We had a campfire, ate tin-foil dinners, and roasted marshmallows. We packed everything we needed and more. Oh no! We forgot to pack a bottle. That was important! Good thing we found an emergency one in the car. Close call.
As soon as we went to bed it started pouring rain. It rained all night. It was so cold and wet, it felt just like camping on the mainland. Lily slept perfectly all night long.
The next morning we enjoyed walking around and exploring the Hoomaluhia gardens where we stayed. What a fun trip!

Lily of the Day - Month 5
Lily can really play now. She is a rolly-polly and a "talker". She is a little social bug and smiles for everyone. Still our good little girl.

Judd Trail
This was a quick 30 min loop trail with a neat river and a swimming hole. Next time we will have to wear our swim suits. It was perfect for the short hour of time we had to do something fun.

We had fun doing some not-so-touristy things: surfing, hiking on the North Shore, Columbus Day at the beach, and touring Kualoa Ranch. We mostly enjoyed just hanging out with good company. Thanks for coming to visit grandma!
