Aiea Loop Hike

We had a free morning so we explored a new-to-us part of our island. We hiked the Aiea loop and then went for the "sort-cut" through the brush. It was a fun family adventure.

We had visitors for 2 weeks plus (gotta love air travel). We had so much fun hanging out and seeing all the sights. What a fun vacation!

Lily of the Day - Month 2

Here are pictures of Lily during here second month of life. She's getting chubbier and more alert every day!

Gubler's Visit

Kyle and McKayla came to visit. It was perfect timing. We needed to get out of the house and start doing stuff. Lily got to do a lot of firsts (first beach trip, first restaurant, etc). We always have so much fun when we get to vacation with visitors.

Lily Baby Blessing

We blessed Lily today in church. Many of our friends where there to help. We are grateful for the beautiful blessing she received. We had so much fun taking pictures of her all dressed up!

Lily of the Day - Month 1

Lily is one month old. Here are pictures from her everyday (well almost every day) up to now. She is such a good baby. She is starting to be awake in the mornings and evenings. She likes to sit and stare and listen. She likes lights, mirrors, and new sounds. She likes her car seat and beach bouncer. She does not like to sleep flat on her back, she likes to be propped up on a pillow. She has outgrown her premie onesies, but she still wears the pants as capris because she is so skinny. We love Lily!

Fourth of July

After a BBQ dinner, we went with our friends (Matt, Jenni, and Abby) to our church and watched all the fireworks around from the parking lot. The best showing were the ones on the Pearl Harbor base. There were people from all of the wards there who were all lighting their own little fireworks. Lily was mesmerized by the bright lights and noises. We are grateful for our nation's freedoms!

Honolulu Zoo

We went to the Zoo for Military Appreciation Day. We rode the shuttle bus there and back. Our friends Gina Theler and Matt, Jenni, and Abby Steele came too. It was a quick trip (since the babies didn't last long) but it was fun!

Lilia's Birth

Our daughter, Lilia Kolani West (Lily) was born on Thur June 12th at 1:00 pm Hawaiian time. She was 6 lbs 13.5oz and 18 3/4in long. We just got back from the hospital today and both mom and baby are doing good. We miss you all and wish you could be here.

Lake Powell Past

So here's an event I finally got to. I was 1 week pregnant with Lily and the water was FREEZING! But as always, Lake Powell was fun, fun, fun!
And how about a family favorite... The CANDY BAR GAME! What a great memory. We're so goofy.
